There’re 2 types of Header:
Classic header is the built-in Fox header and you can configure it in Customize > Header panel. The advantage is you have the header right away and it’s familiar, straight to understand.
Header builder is the header that uses FOX Block to build header. The advantage is you have flexibility to build any layout you want, there’s no limitation like classic header. This feature is introduced since Fox v4.9
Some Fox demos are using Header Builder. Some uses Classic Header.
They’re 2 totally independent and separated modules so if you use one kind of header, you don’t need to worry about the other kind.
To use Header Builder, you should understand how it works. Header Builder uses FOX Block, so please take a look at this article to understand how FOX Block works. After that, here’s the step-by-step guide (with video) to build a custom header (header builder) by FOX Block.
Below demos are just examples. More to come in the future and you can mix their features. If you see one feature in a demo, you can use it in any other demos. All demos are included in the download package and ready to import in 5 minutes.
